Niko and Bennett: Silly and Cute enGAYgement Shenanigans
Niko and Bennett, two vibrant souls deeply in love, embarked on a delightful adventure to capture their enGAYgement in all its silly and cute glory. From their engagement on a summer road trip to Cannon Beach, Oregon, to Niko's heartwarming proposal at a Hozier concert, their journey has been nothing short of magical.
For this shoot, we aimed to highlight the sweet balance of edgy and soft that defines Niko and Bennett's relationship. They love to break traditional gender roles, infusing their moments with authenticity and joy. We ventured to Cattle Point in Victoria, BC, on Lekwungen territory, where nature served as the perfect backdrop for their heartfelt moments. Their infectious laughter and joyful spirits made the session a celebration of their unique bond.
As a non-binary queer photographer, capturing the love and connection of queer couples is a passion close to my heart. I strive to highlight the unique dynamics and beauty found within LGBTQ+ relationships, celebrating love in all its shapes and forms. It’s always a joy to work with couples like Niko and Bennett, who bring their authentic selves to each session, allowing me to create images that truly reflect their love and joy. Every shoot is an opportunity to showcase the diversity and vibrancy of queer love, and I am grateful to be a part of these special moments.
