Capturing Love: A Surprise Engagement Shoot by the Ocean
I had the incredible opportunity to photograph the cutest surprise engagement, and it was an experience I'll never forget. As I sat in the grass, pretending to read but really just anxiously flipping through pages, my heart pounded with anticipation. Then, in a moment that seemed to freeze time, I witnessed a beautiful proposal by the ocean.
The love between Yolanda and Zoe was palpable, and being trusted to capture that moment was an honour I hold dear to my heart. From the nervous excitement to the overwhelming joy, every emotion was beautifully expressed as they took the next step in their journey together.

The sky provided a breathtaking backdrop for the shoot, with hues of pink and blue painting the horizon. It was a bit smoky out, but the gradient pink-to-blue sky was nothing short of magical. And seeing one of these photos printed on their wedding save the date brought tears to my eyes—it was a reminder of the love and joy that surrounded that day.
